When I founded OurLittleNet one of my main goals was to create a local neighborhood site that everyone would be absolutely safe™ using - even children.

So we personally review every page created on the site. Your children will not see anything inappropriate here.

Some parents told me that they weren't comfortable posting pictures of their children even though no-one knew where or who they were. So we created private pages that only friends can view.

Here is how it works:

• Each time you create a page you have the option of making it private.
• The first time someone tries to view your private page they are asked if they are your friend.
• If they say yes, then you must confirm it. We send you an email with details of the member.
• Once approved your friend can view your private pages without further interruption.
